Awesome party in the suburbs

We woke up reasonably on time to get the shuttle to the airport. However, Ryan and I failed to mention to Sylvain exactlly what time we were leaving. So Sylvain took his time in the bathroom and we waited for him. It wasn't a big deal at all though, we were still super early when we got there.

The flight was uneventful, and when we got to Calgary, it was FREEZING. We were also starving, so after the lonnnnnnnnnng bus ride from the airport to downtown Calgary, we immediately went out in search of a real cowtown saloon, and we found a pretty cheesy one, I think it was called Buzzard's or Bottlescrew Bill's. No matter.

While at lunch, we call Jordan to see where he's at, he quickly texts back and welcomes us to Calgary. We take the C Train over to his house and meet all his roommates. His house is pretty cool, there is a Middle Eastern style opium den lounge type place instead of a living room.

We hear about a big party in the suburbs that only takes place once a month, PLUS there is a hot tub. Might be a lilttle cold for that for me, but we still go. The bus takes forever to bring us to Nathan's house, but we make it, and luckily, Jordan shows up and gives us a ride home at the end of the night.

We had a lovely time, eating real Alberta beef shishkabobs and steaks, meeting a guy running across Canada and chatting with Jordan. Luckily (or not) Jordan did not take off all his clothes, like we were warned by one of his roommates... phew.
