Orioles Game and craaaaaaaaabs
15.05.2010
I got up early so I went to this random church to see what was going on. It was pretty boring, but they gave me coffee and pineapple upside down cake afterwards. A homeless man was there begging for money from people.
Owen got Orioles tickets from work so we went to that. It was really boring. Honestly, who watches baseball anymore? In Baltimore though, a lot of people still watch baseball I learned.
The stands were filled with people in black and orange and we just hung out, ate a sausage and drank more Budweiser (because we didn't have enough yesterday I guess).
The Orioles lost to the Cleveland Indians. They have been losing pretty consistently, but still the fans flock to the stadium. That's dedication I guess.
After the game, we came back and Owen took a nap, snoring on the couch. I finished the blog and then we set off for a real Baltimore experience. LP Steamers on the outskirts of town. It's apparently the cheapest and best place to get crabs steamed and covered in spicy Old Bay. They put a big piece of paper on the plastic table on the deck and you mash the crabs to bits while you pick out the meat and lick your fingers clean.
We also got a big plate of oysters/shrimp/lobster/scallops/mussels/clams. Wowwwwwww, definitely would recommend this place. It was a great way to end a lazy Sunday afternoon.
On our way home, we stopped at the grocery store, where I witnessed the most giant donuts I have ever seen in my life. I did not buy one for your information.
We were about to go up on the roof when Owen found the way to the fire escape. He had some work things to do so I hung out there until bedtime.
