We drive to Rehoboth Beach

Owen picked me up at the airport in a little green mini cooper convertible. It was around lunch time so we went to Regi´s again in Baltimore.

Then, we got kind of lost because Owen doesn´t like to use maps and his iPad doesn´t like it when you want to drive somewhere without interstates.

Eventually we just resigned ourselves to the highways and it wasn´t that bad.

Driving into Rehoboth is pretty gross, full of strip malls and dollar stores and diesel in the air. Typical I guess of cheesy tourist destinations. I.E. my home town.

But, when you are on the beach, it´s a little bit quaint I guess. Not as tacky as Atlantic City, but it´s still pretty cliche and everything.

We went for a Pakistani dinner at someone´s summer home nearby. It was pretty good. They gave me some bangles to wear and Owen didn´t know anyone. So mostly we just sat around and talked to random people.

When we walked back, we got lost because all the streets have different names depending on what side of town you are on.
