First night with Bertram
29.10.2010
OK so the first impression I had of Bertram was not so good. When I caled him from Leen.s house. he was telling me to "just relaaaaax" when all I wanted to know was what time the last bus to his house arrived... sigh. so we went anyway.
In the morning we walked the length of Trondhei and watched some ducks then ot on the train. The train was long again but also beautiful scenery. As a rule I do not take pictures out of moving vehicles. I am alwas disappointed. Sorry.
When we got to Molde Bertram was waitng there with his weird truck. I sat in the back with bunch of woodworking and fishing equipment with no seatbelt as Bertram sped arund the windy roads. Terrifying.
When we got to his house. he began to tell us stories about how he thinks domestic abuse is just a "process" to work out disputes and also how he once ran over some guy's feet with his car. Great. So anyway. I slept well dspite my rational mind telling me to run away.
In the morning we went out to dig worms and then we bought some food for the weekend and went fishing.
He only had two life jackets on his boat with the motor that doesnt always start. I made sure we had both of them on.
The sea was very rocky and he we came to a little bay where we ate some fish stew and Bertram told us of all his conspiacy theories about emergency evacuation plans for only smart people to the moon after the earth explodes. He also said he saw a UfO and isnt it a shame that you are labelled a raving lunatic by everyone who hsnt seen one.
OK now I am ready to go back. Thank you for the lovely boat ride.
Dad and Bertram yap away drinking pear cider and then I go to bed.
