Switching trains in Chicago

It took all day and all night to get to Rochester, New York, where I was asked for my proof of citizenship. I was freaking right out, because they had already taken some brown people off of the train and were talking to them on the platform.

Imagine I got deported again?! Anyway, I believe I kept my cool enough so that the border guard didn't even ask me any questionds. I watched the holocaust movie Shoah all day that day. (It's a long one)

I had a couple of hours to kill, so I walked over to Greektown and scored me a delicious gyro at Greek Islands. I also stocked up on food for the next three days of train-ing around I'd be doing soon! I remember there were a ton of mennonites in the train station. Is that because they aren't allowed to fly?
