Amtrak is pretty fast

It didn't take long to get to the other side of the country. There weren't a whole lot of stops, so we went pretty quickly. Did I mention the ticket was only about $200??? Crazy cheap!
Usually, I had two seats to myself so I slept well. All of the old people (who comprised most of the train) went to the back of the train where they could knit and watch the sncenery through the panoramic windows.
