A Travellerspoint blog

I was cheered up and then attacked

So all morning long I was pretty much crying and feeling sorry for myself. At around 2 p.m. this lady Mel from Couchsurfing came over and we went out and she took me around to get a smoothie. Some new restaurant was handing out balloons so that made me happy. We walked on down to the park and then to karaoke and then dinner. At karaoke I sang some Weezer and even some Simple Plan! My god, hilarious. We ate a bunch of western-style food, which was a little disappointing. After dinner, the rest of the people went to watch Total Recall, which I already saw. It was pouring and American Nick gave me his umbrella so I could walk home.

The only way to describe the rain was torrential. I haven't been in rain like that since Mexico. Rivers coming down the street and everything. A couple of times I had to cross the busy road because there was a lake in my way.

I promptly went to sleep at 9 p.m.

Then, at around 4 A.M.:

BANGBANGBANGBANGBANG ALKDJAKENKAGNEAKARE (Korean words)

At least two very angry sounding Korean men are trying to get into my apartment.

Holy crap. I am pooing my pants and shaking like a leaf. I do not make a noise, I do not say anything, I just wait until they give up and leave.

Who the hell lived here before and are these his awesome friends?

I cannot sleep obviously after this, so I just go straight to school and work on creating some activities.
