We went to see Napalm Death

Jo wanted to go see a metal show, but no one else wanted to, so I volunteered.

In the morning, I caught the KTX to Seoul and went straight to the Beautiful Store. It was so hard to find and a lot smaller than I expected. I thought it was the only one, but it turns out there are like, five of them in Seoul.

Jo met me there after some frantic messaging, I found her. I bought a whole bunch of "more appropriate" polo shirts for about 3 dollars each and Jo found some jeans for the same price. I also got some "inside shoes" that are sweet JELLY SHOES. For one dollar.

We had some bento boxes and then went to check into the hostel. We went to Base Camp and the guy at the desk remembered me. Of course. Then we went up to the rooftop, drank some raspberry wine and went to the show.

Jo amazed me with her "I feel that it is nearby" spidey sense. I wanted to go straight, but she "felt" that the venue was on the left, so we turned and then found it right in front of us. I don't know how she did it.

All day long, it was metal metal metal and during the breaks I kinda watched while Jo flirted with all the random metalheads. Haha.

I wish I could remember all the names of the bands, but I can't. So here are pictures, and maybe someone can tell me who they are. Probably not though.

After that, Jo met some young boys from her hometown, Manchester and they followed us around, trying to find this club, FF. I was not really into the whole clubbing thing at the moment. First we went to a small lounge, then a really dead disco bar, and then we finally we found FF club. That was fun, but not until we went down into the basement, where they were playing alt-rock. On top, they were playing American pop, and we kept getting humped by Koreans. Gross.

In the basement, I found a weird gay dude who I bought a bucket of vodka and orange juice with. I hung out with him and his other gay friends the rest of the night.

When it was time to go home, we got a sausage and then I think Jo was mad at me about me laughing at her when none of the taxis would pick us up. But it was OK after a bit, I think.
