Mallipo Beach

we both woke up early to start our separate adventures for the weekend. Lauren was off to Seoul for a vegan potluck and I was off to an ancient temple in woraksan park.
The temple was amazing. I got there on the first bus so there was no one around. At these kind of places i always imagine all the people who would make pilgrimages to this exact same spot over millennia and it never ceases to astound me every time. I meandered around the ruins for a while and caught a bus back to chungju for the next destination, Mallipo beach.
I slept almost all the way there. Transferring in a zombie-like stupor... But I arrived at about 4 pm. And wandered around the beach for a few hours. eventually I ordered some fried chicken and laid around on the beach until the sun went down.
The sunset wasn't happening for me it was way too cloudy :( so I kept on trucking to anmyeondo an island with an even better beach, supposedly.
