The things I plan to do
13.08.2013
The day that I got my visa to work in China, I bought my ticket to Australia. I have quite a few friends in Sydney and Melbourne, so why not?
Rachel (http://blog.travelpod.com/members/cheli) and I will be going skiing in August and to the opening night of the Melbourne Writers' Festival. Where the Moth will be holding a fancy event.
Me and Tess (from Ottawa) will be hanging out volunteering at a vegan cafe that sells food by donation.
I'll be dining out in Sydney with Rani (http://blog.travelpod.com/members/raniroo) and sleeping over at Kelsey's house (from Stevensville).
I have yet to plan anything with Gerre (who is also from Travelpod, but I can't find his blog)
Never in my life did I think I would ever have the time to make it all the way to the other side of the world. But here I am, and there I go!
My good friends in Iksan sent me off with food on shovels and just an hour of karaoke (it was a weekday). I managed to get to bed by 11 p.m. and I got up way early on Wednesday morning to catch the train to Seoul for my flight.
After flying to Shanghai, I needed to switch airports, so I spent about two hours underground on the subway after arriving about 5 hours early for my flight! I fell asleep at the gate and set my alarm too late for the flight. However, it didn't matter because it was going to be delayed for three hours anyway.
I managed to Skype call Tess and tell her "PLANE DELAYED... MANY HOURS" through the broken internet signal.
