To the beach

I couldn't decide what to do today at all. Rachel convinced me that going to St. Kilda's beach would be a good idea, so I went down there. It was a little cold, but I made a salami sandwich picnic anyway and walked around on the beach and down the pier. I even had an Australian pale ale with it. The no-beer diet is called off....

Luna Park was closed, so that was sad. I think they were doing renovations.

I bought some new semi-professional dresses to wear at my new university job at the South Melbourne market. It was a good idea.

Then, I had a bunch of hours to kill so I walked all the way to Lentil As Anything to see Tess and wait for Rachel to arrive for dinner at 7 p.m. They have really good coffee there, and also really good curries. Tuesdays are Indian nights, so it was very appreciated.

We sat beside some crazy gay guys, one who was a drag queen, who entertained us as we dined. Oh and there was also a guy playing Pakistani (???) music.

It was cold and we were full, so we went home early.
