A Newtown adventure

I made a token effort helping Kelsey set up the workshop at the market in the morning and then set off on my own adventure of Newtown.

There was a park set up by some union activists, an aboriginal mural, and the old Camperdown cemetery. Then, I headed down to the beautiful campus of the University of Sydney on the bright sunny day. It felt really old school and scholarly.

I ended my walk at Victoria Park, where I was shocked by my first glimpse of an ibis, an unbelievably bizarre looking prehistoric bird.

I met up with Kelsey back at the market, then went home for a nap and when I woke up she was back already. We went out for down and dirty vegan Thai food with "spicy crunchy tofu" that tasted like pancakes and turkey bacon.
