New Year's Eve with the Mer Lion

Fresh off the boat in Singapore, with no friends. What to do on New Year's Eve. You go out with couch surfers and a co-worker of course.

Leah met me downtown and we had a picnic with a big bunch of couch surfers on "the lawn" at Marina Bay. That was good but me and Leah got a little antsy so we wandered around looking a stuff.

We wound up asleep on a hill in a big garden and almost missed the fireworks. We missed them entirely really, because we were on the wrong side of the big famous hotel. Oops. I fell asleep again on the subway back to the hotel.
