East end architecture tour

Sunday is my Friday so I took off on Friday night to go exploring the east end of the city. This is the place where all the Malay people moved to back in the day, but now it is a mixture of people everywhere. Mainly, I wanted to see the old fashioned two-storey storefronts and eat some famous beef noodles. The rest I guess, was just gravy.

First, I headed to the national stadium. It's brand new and kind of looks like the moon. I mistakenly took a bus instead of the MRT there. The customer service people are not very helpful here. They are more confusing than anything.

From there, I went to Geylang Rd. and found my noodle shop, went looking around at the cool shopfronts and then went home.
