Different day, same plan

The next day, I basically did the same thing again. I went to a beach, Cottesloe this time, and then I went to see the giant puppet roaming the streets.

At Cottesloe beach, it was really windy and all the sand got into my cheese and crackers. I liked Scarborough beach better just because it was perfectly white. It was still a nice way to spend the early afternoon.

I'm starting to think that my sunscreen is not really sunscreen. It says SPF 90 on the bottle and the logo is a little blurry. Once this suspicion dawned on me, I actually read the back of the bottle. It was filled with spelling and grammatical errors. There's probably no such thing as SPF 90 St. Ives sunscreen. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

After the beach, I headed downtown to see the puppet. This time it was a diver. He was even bigger than the little girl puppet I saw the day before.

The crowds were ginormous. I waited with the rest of the people for the diver to wake up after his nap at 4:30. I saw him wake up and walk around in a circle and then I went home early on Valentine's Day night. I went to the grocery store to find something to make for dinner but it was closed. Believe it or not. So, I settled on a Subway sub, ugh.

Then, when I got back to the house, all the doors were locked, double ugh. Except for one window, so I scrambled through it into the house, triple ugh. And then one of the other surfers came home and I told him he was my date for the night. He was just fixing his car so that he could get out of there as fast as possible. It was fun anyway.
