Training it to Adelaide
14.02.2015
Since I have the rail pass, I decided to take it out to Adelaide and then to Darwin. At about noon on Sunday I boarded and was placed beside three lovely ladies from Belgium, Australia and Japan. We got along really well and agreed to meet up later in Adelaide for karaoke.
Anywho, Jess brought a guitar and sang a lot of songs in the dining car after hours. When we stopped in Kalgoorlie for a few hours late at night, we all ventured out to the gas station to buy some much needed fruits and vegetables. It was the only place open. Then we sat down on some fake grass and had another singalong. Some aboriginal homeless people heard us and promptly came over to sell us a watch that was maybe worth about $2. Shoko, the Japanese lady, was frightened and she said it was the first time she'd ever seen poor people like that. What a wake up call I guess.
The rest of the time on the plane, I just listened to music and deleted the bad files I had downloaded earlier in the week. Took a long time because I had a lot of music. Agh.
