Leaving the cottage

I inexplicably wake up at around 5:15 a.m. and get ready to go. Ken has to take me over to the marina because his cottage is "inaccessible by road". He whines a little bit, but I think he's OK. There's mist on the lake again, but this time it's not obscuring anything and it's nothing less than captivating. I unload my stuff and load up my bike. Ken reminds me to open the choke on my motorcycle, or else it won't start, and then I'm off. Motorcycling straight to work after a weekend of fun.

I only stall the motorbike once, but this time, it happens on the 417 heading into Ottawa, with major rush hour traffic all around, oops! The transport truck behind me, kindly did not run me over.

See you next time, when I go camping at Bonita Glen with my mom and the Girl Guide ladies.
