It's raining in Muyu

August 13 In the morning Carolyn and I had sesame noodles for breakfast and she sent me on my way.

She told me to go to the downtown bus station to catch the bus to Muyu. She was wrong! I had to take another bus at the east end of town, where I would have gone in the first place, if I didn't listen to her! It ended up ok because I only had to wait 50 minutes until the next one.

The bus was full and I had terrible seat at the back of the bus beside this woman who could speak English well, but constantly questioned everything about my life. When she fell asleep I was relieved.

We arrived in Muyu to a rainstorm. A teenager from the bus who could speak English led me to his family's hotel and arranged a room for me. I was grateful to him and his family for sure! Meals were included in the price, so I ate with the owner but never saw the guy from the bus again.
