Crazy scary mummy and Jingzhou city walls

I didn't sleep well on my bamboo mat bed, so I woke up early and snacked on leftover lotus root.

Judy was up soon after, and she helped me find a train to Shangrao on Moday, while my stinky clothes were in her washing machine. I hung them up to dry and we headed out to the train station to buy the tickets.

It was a big mess, and people were cutting in line everywhere. I amused myself by blocking people from cutting in with my body. They were mad. After about an hour, I got to the ticket window, where Judy bought my ticket.

When we got back, her mom was already making an amazing vegetarian lunch for us. She is a devout Buddhist, so we ate pumpkins, lotus, chives, peppers, tofu, taro ad tomatoes with rice, wow! Judy taught me how to peel lotus seeds and we had smoe of those boiled in a light syrup as well. After lunch, we went to the Jingzhou museum, which is beautiful and has all the regular stuff all museums have. A history of the area ad some stuff they dug up nearby, but it also has a really fresh looking mummy from 2,000 years ago.

Then, we went for a stroll around the city walls to meet her friend from childhood, Ruby. We walked back to Judy's house to cool down, then went for hot pot later.
