Long bus to Salvador

I accidentally bought a ticket in the handicapped section and ended up beside this large lady who was constantly sticking her butt in my seat and generally being annoying. Sending and receiving constant voice messages like a walkie talkie. I moved as soon as I could and that wasn't until 3 am.

Our bus careened around mountainsides until it came to a semi desert and that's when we wound up in Salvador. I got off the bus to a cacophony of noise, it really is a different world up here. I had to climb over two rickety pedestrian bridges to get to Marcello's place. It was only about 500 metres away but it felt like way more than that.

Marcelo had a key waiting for me in his fancy business flat. It even had a pool on the roof. I enjoyed that but it was too shady and there wasn't any sun in the afternoon anymore, so I didn't stay long.

I went to the mall and set up a nice sushi dinner for us, complete with sake and everything. We drank the whole bottle and listened to some crazy cello rock music that he likes and went to bed.
