Omg I'm going to the Amazon!

I wanted to find a silly potion for Craig's cancer, so I went to the market and found some pills. One guy tried to sell me a bunch of weird tea but it was too bulky to bring back home.

After that it was time for lunch, and I wanted something good to eat. I headed back to the mangal das garcas. There is a fantastic lunch time buffet and you can look out on the river and mangroves while you eat an amazing five star buffet. Of course I ate too much and then felt like exploding the whole rest of the day.

On the way home, I bought some snacks for my Amazon river boat trip to Santarem. I packed up and walked on down to the docks, with my hammock bundled up in my arms.

After boarding the boat, I immediately met a Jordanian guy named wisamm who helped me hang my hammock up. He was taking a motorcycle trip around the world that helps injured Palestinian children. Www.goodwilljourney.com

He was super interesting and I could tell he hadn't spoken English in a long time. He never stopped talking.

I went to bed early, but couldn't sleep at all. Somehow I had ended up in the air conditioned room underneath a fluorescent light. It was way too cold and way too bright, I moved downstairs at about 1 a.m. Exhausted.
