Finding Keith's glasses

There was one other place where Keith could've left his glasses. We had to get up at 5:30, to try and find them on the picnic table in the parking lot at Jean Drapeau Park. We had to go all the way back downtown and then out of town at rush hour, but I couldn't leave without trying. When we pulled up to the table, it looked like there was nothing on it, but I decided to get a little closer. Sure enough, there they were, in the exact spot Keith left them last night when he was putting on his helmet. Wow, that's a relief. But now, will I make it to work on time?

Turns out no. The ride back to Ottawa was freezing cold, and I wanted to do it as fast as possible. I thought I had enough gas to get us there, but it turns out no. The bike started running out of gas in the middle of a six lane section of the 417, about 5km from work. Crap! Luckily, Keith had CAA so we called them and they brought us $10 worth, so I got to work, only 1.5 hours late. Not too shabby.

Next up: Trip to Burk's Falls, Ontario for the Harvest Festival with Jamie.
