Paris

Eiffel Tower, Louvre, baguettes in the park, overpriced Perrier, you know the story already...

Lyon

Also, a very nice place, cobblestone streets and whatnot. I remember Brian broke down and ate McDonald's and I made fun of him for it.

Monaco

Monaco, also beautiful. We didn't go to the casino at Monte Carlo because 1) it was expensive to get in and 2) we don't like casinos anyway.

Nice

This is the place where you can hear the most beautiful sound in the world. Pebbles on the beach and the waves crashing is simply MUSIC. There was a huge beach party the night we were here, but it ended abruptly, as soon as a DJ got smashed in the head with a bottle and one of his friends went on a revenge rampage with a baseball bat.

Florence

Didn't do a whole lot in Florence, but I did manage to step in human feces, and then buy some new shoes. Shoes that later, I left in a Toronto Salvation Army. I miss those shoes. They were beautiful.

Vatican

Really gross. We saw all the usual suspects, including the excessive amounts of gold that the Catholic church owns and all the poor people, just outside the door.

Rome

Also cool, we went to the Colosseum and lots of ruins. I think Brian saw some kind of church with old monks' bones inside. Rome also won a large soccer championship while we were there. It was so cool, the streets were full of red and orange.

Venice

Such an amazing city. Very beautiful. I ran through the pigeons there of course, and also bought a silk tie. I remember it was really smelly too.

Lucerne

We got mistaken for homeless people and a rich guy gave us a bottle of water. Also, we stood mesmerized as we came across those ubiquitous European robot/statue people in the parks for the first time.

Austria

Also high on space cakes. Mostly I slept, but we also saw a castle with a golden roof, which you were not supposed to oggle.

Luxembourg

I think we spent about an hour here. We stopped at a local market and bought some healthy food.

Germany

Germany: Went on a cruise along the Rhine River, then visited a beer stein store. All while high on space cakes.

Belgium

We just drove through Belgium.

Edam

Bought some cheese, also some wooden shoes. We stayed here, while traipsing around in Amsterdam for a couple of days.

London

Wow, London is crazy. I wish I could've spent more time here, but all that happened was we checked into our hotel, and then left on a Contiki tour.
